Bus attack investigated

POLICE are investigating an incident where rocks were thrown at parked buses at a Willaston depot last week.

Between 6pm and 7.30pm last Thursday, eight or nine large rocks were thrown at five buses parked at the Kelly Road bus depot, causing damage.

CCTV is being viewed by police and investigations are continuing.

A police spokesperson said throwing rocks or objects at vehicles, or buildings, is a dangerous, criminal offence and attracts significant penalties.

Anyone who sees someone throw a rock, or other item, at vehicles or buildings is urged to report it to police immediately on 131 444.

The bus depot was contacted for comment.
