17/Feb/10 MADAM - As a local resident, ratepayer and also a long-standing attendee at the Salvation Army Church here in Gawler, I was staggered to read that the Salvation Army had spent $53 million Australia-wide in the year 2008 on the disposal of dumped goods - goods that were not fit to pass onto others, nor fit to sell in order to raise funds to help the needy.
