GAWLER’S Natural Resource Centre will soon relocate to the ground floor of the council- owned Gawler Administration Centre, in High Street.
The centre, which has long been based on Adelaide Road, will be re-named the Gawler Environment Centre and co-locate with Gawler Council, after the successful negotiation of a 10-year lease agreement.
It will also be joined by the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resource Management Board office, which will, too, move from Adelaide Road.
The tenancy area includes a dedicated space for the community-run centre, which will continue to provide advice and assistance on issues such as sustainable land uses and environmentally-friendly
The relocation is due to be complete by the end of this month.
