Who is responsible for this mess? Is it the GEHA? or is it the Council? One thing IS FOR SURE and that is that these young lads now have a bad taste left in their mouth, the future of Gawler has now stopped at them. Gawler properties certainly will not be on their shopping list in a couple of decades and if they have anything to say about it(they most certainly will now), they will be making sure that everybody else knows about their time in Gawler. Us generation X and Y folk are also of the same view and IMO while some organisations hold an elitist view of their being in Gawler, Our question to them is WHO is going to buy their 'heritage' properties when they need to move on in a little while? It won't be us and considering we are of the internet age, BAD NEWS TRAVELS FAST.

To hell with the GEHA , crumbling sandstone and broken glass bottle walls and lets bring Gawler into the modern age.

What is really disgusting is that past champions have cut their teeth on that track which inspires our Youth today.... IMO, The sad truth is it is all being packed in for some heritage freaks who want to stop at nothing for "historic character"... to the detriment of everybody else.
