Couch Potato

Full Frontal
with Samantha Bee
Thursday, SBS VICELAND, 8pm
Comedian, writer, actress and political commentator Samantha Bee played a correspondence role on “The Daily Show” with John Stewart for 12 years.
Bringing her trademark sass and wit over to her own program, Bee tackles a range of taboo topics with a satiric spin.
Be prepared to laugh at and, sometimes, disagree with her take on the latest American news and current affairs.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Thursday, 9 Life, 8.30pm
If you are looking for a hit of drama and scandal, this show is one not to be missed.
Similar to the other ‘Real Housewife’ series, Beverly Hills follows a group of very wealthy ladies whose lives revolve around socialising and shopping.
While it sounds ridiculous, it is very addictive.

Freddie Flintoff:
Lord Of The Fries
Saturday, One, 6pm
Former England cricket captain Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff realises his childhood dream of running his own fish and chip shop.
Teaming up with tree-hugging, extreme-cyclist Rob Penn, Freddie hits the road in his own eco-friendly, fat-fuelled mobile chippy, to tour Britain and Ireland.
Will the Lord’s legend become Lord of the Fries? Watch to find out.

Django Unchained
Sunday, 7mate, 9pm
If you like Quentin Tarantino, this is a must watch.
Carrying on his cinematographic signature movies of dark humour, stylised violence, poignant dialogue and an awesome soundtrack, Tarantino takes us to the pre-Civil War era with this nod to old school Spaghetti Westerns.
A freed slave by the name of Django (Jamie Foxx) sets out with a German bounty hunter, Dr King Schultz (Christoph Waltz), to rescue his wife from Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), a violent, racist Mississippi plantation owner.
