FORMER South Gawler Lion Travis Head rebounded from a two-run first innings to put up a monster 171 not-out to help South Australia salvage a draw in its Sheffield Shield clash with Tasmania last week.

Head went to the crease with South Australia at 2/71, and proceeded to put together healthy partnerships with opener Henry Hunt, and then Callum Ferguson, who scored 46 and 40 respectively.
Head hit 23 fours in his 265-ball innings, finishing 21 runs short of his first-class career high of 192.
