THE Gawler train line will be closed for two nights next weekend to allow for work on four active pedestrian crossings along the network.

The line will close from Friday, July 21 at 10pm until Saturday, July 22 at 5.30am, and again from Sunday, July 23 at 10pm until Monday, July 24 at 4.30am.

The last train service will depart from Adelaide and Gawler at 9.25pm on Friday and Sunday.

Trains will operate along the line as usual on Saturday night.

Substitute bus services will operate between Adelaide Railway Station and Gawler Central Railway Station throughout the closure periods, and will make all stops along the line.
