CENTRAL District has again suffered
a close loss, this time to Woodville-
West Torrens by nine points in
the SANFL Women’s competition.
The Dogs got off to a flyer with
Katelyn Rosenzweig having two shots
on goal, one for a major.
Unfortunately that was cancelled
out by Crows-listed Jess Sedunary, but
Central retained a one-point lead into
quarter-time.
Yet, the second quarter was all for the
Eagles, but they only made the most of
their chances once, with Steph Walker
kicking the only major of the term.
Despite trailing by five points at the
main break, the Dogs scored first in the
third quarter, with Chantel Reynolds
getting on the board.
It would be the Dogs’ last major of
the game, as Sedunary secured her second
and Kiana Lee booted one to finish
Central off.
Shelby Smith had 21 touches and six
tackles, while Caitlen Teague had 15
touches.
