ELIZABETH has come out with a 10-goal
victory over Marion in division six of the
Adelaide Footy League.
The Eagles continued their strong first quarter
form with a five-goal-to-nothing opening
stanza to set up a 30-point lead at the first break.
Marion fought back in the second quarter,
keeping the deficit to just 31 points, but could
not maintain it.
The Eagles kicked nine goals to four after
the half-time break and ran away with a percentage-
boosting win.
Jarad Clinton kicked five goals, taking his
tally to 17 in his past three games, while Jacob
Shephard slotted four.
In the reserves, Elizabeth defeated Marion
by 22 points.
John Page led the way with three majors,
while Dakota Conder-Evans and John Owen
kicked two each.
In the C-grade, Elizabeth won by forfeit.
