Long service legend

Hamley Bridge Aged Care clinical nurse consultant Di Adams celebrated her impending long service leave with residents on Thursday.

Ms Adams started her nursing career with training at Memorial Hospital in Adelaide in 1972, and has since worked at Mallala Hospital before doing Hamley Bridge Aged Care in 1996, where she holds her current position.

The Hamley Bridge Aged Care team had plenty of words of praise for Ms Adams.

“Di epitomises the essence of a nurse who is kind, compassionate and professional,” they said.

“She is a much-loved member of staff, friend and advocate of residents and has always been a shining light at the facility.

“We all wish her well with a much deserved holiday full of adventures and love with her family, creating many memories with her two granddaughters.”
